City of Newton Online Payments

Online transactions will be charged a $1 service fee and phone transactions will be charged a $1.25 fee. The City absorbs other processing fees charged by the credit card companies.

No-Fee Payment Options:

• Drop Box: On Oak Street to the west of City Hall
• In-Person: Cash, Check, Money Order, Credit or Debit Card can be processed at City Hall, 201 E 6th St, Newton KS 67114

Contractors or property owners can apply for permits for work to be completed within the Newton city limits. Trade contractors are required to pull their own permits for small jobs and those being worked with a general contractor. General contractors are not allowed to pull trade permits for any job. Permits include building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, right-of-way work, mobile homes setup, and signs within City limits.
